It was a fantastic summer day to celebrate the 65th Annual Westbrook Drum Corps Muster, which was dedicated to the late Dodie McGrath!
The Westbrook Republican Town Committee was present with a tent on the Town Green and handed out free water to folks in attendance.
It great to see so many children enjoying the day!

Last night was a very special night for the family of the late Paul Connelly. Thanks to our two State Representatives Devin Carney and Chris Aniskovich, a section of Route 145 in Westbrook is now Officially called Paul J. Connelly Memorial Highway.
Paul served the Town of Westbrook very generously with over fifty years in the Westbrook Fire Department, rising to the level of Chief; helping to found the Westbrook Ambulance Association in the early 1960s and being instrumental in its operation for decades; and served on the Board of Finance, many years as Chairman! He was also a long time member of the Westbrook Republican Town Committee.
Pictured with the State Reps, are his wife Susan and his two children, Amy and James and their spouses and Paul’s grandchildren.
It was a wonderful celebration with over thirty members attending!
